One of the things I am constantly working on in my life is being grateful. When I get stressed and I am in a negative mood it helps me to listen to country songs about being thankful. Here are some of my favorite country songs about being grateful. Feel free to post any comments or additional songs about gratitude.
1. Your Gonna Miss This – Trace Adkins
Trace Adkins new song, “Your Gonna Miss This” is about a girl always looking forward and not appreciating the present. This song reinforces that time will pass quickly so we better appreciate what we have now. “Thankful Man” is another great song about gratitude from Trace Adkins. It is on his album Chrome.

2. If Tomorrow Never Comes – Garth Brooks
This Garth Brooks hit is about facing the fact that we better appreciate what we have now because there might not be a tomorrow.
3. Lucky Man - Montgomery Gentry
I love how this song gets what gratitude is all about. Montgomery Gentry are great about putting out songs that real folks can relate to.

4. It’s Good To Be Us - Bucky Covington
A fun light song about being grateful for life and love. Love the video too.

5. Last Day Of My Life - Phil Vassar
This song is about being grateful for your spouse. When we are busy with life we often neglect the ones we love the most. I am glad there are songs out there like this one to help us focus on what is important.

6. I Hate Everything - George Strait
The message in this powerful song is familiar to most of us. We have all listened to a friend or saw something on tv that makes us think at least we don’t have it as bad as that person. That makes us feel a little more grateful for the blessings in our life.

7. Good To Go - Jason Aldean
Song about focusing on the past and present gifts in your life. I like how this song mentions not being perfect but when really get down to thinking about it, you can recognize what has been and is good in your life. This song makes you think if your time was up would you be good to go? I know I wouldn’t.

8. Blessed - Martina McBride
This song by Martina does a great job of showing how we should be grateful for our kids and all our blessings.

9. Life Is Good - Jo Dee Messina
This song is about finally realizing that you don’t need to focus on the material but be thankful for life and focus on today.
10. I Could Not Ask For More - Sara Evans
This is another song about being thankful for the loved ones in your life. I think the lyrics in this song are just so beautiful.
