I’d add Pam Tillis - “When You Walk in the Room.” Probably my favorite “crush” song.

It’s been a while, but the ultimate cheatin’ / crush song on a friend (actually his wife is probably “Long Black Veil”. Well the guy with the crush “dies” because he can’t tell his friend, that he had a illegitimate relationship with his wife. He takes the secret to the grave, after he is being hanged and couldn’t come up with his alibi. The refrain refers to her visiting his grave.
Today a lot of people think this is a folk song, maybe the writing of Marijohn Wilkin and Danny Dill evokes that. Well it was a @6 hit for Lefty Frizzell in 1959, it reached @6 in the Country Charts at that time.
This is a classic and I’m sure that will find a version that suits you, besides Frizzell, Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews, The Band and many others recorded this gem - lately there is a a gorgeous version out by Carrie Rodriquez and Chip Taylor. A must buy for every real country fan.
