Having a blog has made me think a lot about my country music past.   I use to sing the song “Hold Me” over and over when I was a young teen.  I would sing for hours in my bedroom.  My poor older brother can attest to that.   The song “Hold Me” came out when I was 14.  Back then I would tape a country song I liked off the radio and then listen to it over and over so I could copy the lyrics on to a sheet of paper to sing.  We didn’t have the luxuries back then that the internet provides today.  Looking back now I think it is funny that as a 14 year old girl I fell in love with this grown up song about not giving up on a marriage in tough times.  Well I am all grown up and still in love with this song.
