I have compiled a bunch of songs that could fit the graduation theme. Some are from a parents point of view and many are inspirational.
1. Billy Ray Cyrus & Miley Cyrus – “Ready Set Don’t Go” 
Newer song about having a hard time letting your child go into the world.
2. Carrie Underwood – “Don’t Forget To Remember Me” 
Popular song, off of Carrie’s debut album Some Hearts, about a daughter leaving for college.
3. Carrie Underwood – “Crazy Dreams” 
This upbeat song is very inspirational. It’s message is to dream big and you will succeed.
4. Carrie Underwood – “Starts With Goodbye” 
This song appears to be a song about saying goodbye to a boyfriend but the lyrics also could imply saying goodbye to any important person or time in your life. Graduation time is full of goodbyes and this emotional Carrie Underwood song fits well with the sadness mixed with the joy of graduation time.
5. Dixie Chicks – “Wide Open Spaces” 
Dixie Chick classic about going out into the world and finding your own way.
6. Faith Hill – “Wish For You” 
Sweet song off the album Firefly about wishing different beautiful things for someone’s life.
7. Garth Brooks – “Do What You Gotta Do”
Awesome song of the album Sevens. Advice about the fact you need to believe in yourself and “Do What You Gotta Do.” Don’t listen to those that say you can’t do something.
8. Garth Brooks – “How You Ever Gonna Know”
Another inspirational Garth Brooks song off of the album Sevens about needing to take chances to experience life. Need to take risks and not be afraid to fail.
9. Garth Brooks – “The River”
Song about letting life flow like a river. Garth sings about living life and move forward and not standing still. It is from Garth’s Album Ropin’ The Wind.
10. Jessica Andrews – “I Wish For You” 
From the album Now, “I Wish For You” is a great song about living your life as who you are. The song gives advice about making it in the world and wishing a person well.
11. Kenny Chesney – “Don’t Blink” 
One of Kenny Chesney’s songs from his newest album, Just Who I Am. It is a warning to your graduate that time is going to fly fast and you need to appreciate things.
12. Kenny Chesney – “There Goes My Life” 
Song about watching your daughter grow up and go off to college. It is from the album When the Sun Goes Down.
13. Leanne Rimes – “Please Remember”
Leanne Rimes song from the Coyote Ugly Sound Track. It is about saying goodbye. Song is about asking the person who is leaving to remember all the good times and times they were there for each other.
14. Lee Ann Womack – “I Hope You Dance” 
From the Album I Hope You Dance. This popular inspirational song is about wishing your child or another graduate well in their life.
15. Randy Travis – “Faith In You” 
Randy Travis single, “Faith In You” can be interpreted in a few ways. You can use this song to symbolize having faith in your child as they graduate and go off into the world.
16. Rascal Flatts – “My Wish” 
This is my favorite inspirational song. It is from the album Me & My Gang. It is a beautiful song about wishing all a person’s dreams come true. The song also lists important things in life.
17. Reba McEntire – “Your Gonna Be” 
Reba song about letting your child go. Letting your child experience life for themselves good and bad.
18. Suzy Bogguss – “Letting Go” 
Classic Suzy Bogguss song from the album Aces. Song about daughter preparing to go off to college. Song talks about how both the girl and mother feel about letting go.
19. Trace Adkins – “Your Gonna Miss This” 
This song shares the same name as the album. It is a song about enjoying every stage of your life as you move on.
20. Trace Adkins – “Then They Do” 
“Then They Do” from Trace Adkins Greatest Hits Vol. 1 is about a parent remembering their child as they grows. Talks about children going off to college, getting married etc. and the quiet left at home.
21. Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus – “Climb” 
This is a new song (2009) from the Hannah Montana Movie Sound track.
22. “It’s Your Song” (Double Live)
This is a beautiful song to help celebrate a graduation.
It is about having that one person who really believed in you and lifted you up.
